As another school year comes to a close, the North Penn School District (NPSD) will say goodbye to 84 beloved employees as they enter the well-earned, next chapter of their lives, retirement.
In May, the district honored employees at the annual NPSD Retiree Reception held at North Penn High School (NPHS) in the courtyard. Staff members who retired in 2020 were also invited to join in the festivities as they were not able to celebrate together last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Retirees, honored guests and members of the NPSD Board of Directors and NPSD Administration gathered outdoors to recognize, celebrate and give many thanks to the NPSD staff members retiring with a focus on the student-centered culture that is North Penn. Guests were delighted with sounds from NPSD student musicians and enjoyed a delicious spread for dinner from the NPHS culinary students at North Montco Technical Career Center.
