Homeroom Parents Information

Being a Homeroom Parent is a great way to become involved and participate in your child's class experience. Each class needs one (1) Homeroom Captain and two (2) Homeroom Parents.

The homeroom parents will assist the teacher where needed, coordinate three (3) class parties during the school year.  Additionally, Homeroom Parents will help to gather class photos for our yearbook and communicate with the parents throughout the school year with pertinent information.  Homeroom parents will also organize a holiday teacher gift and plan Teacher Appreciation Week activities for the class.

Clearances are needed by all volunteers entering school during school hours. These clearances need to be turned into NPSD by October 22, 2021 to be eligible. You can find the list of the three (3) required clearances on the district website at https://www.npenn.org/for_families/volunteers/npsd_volunteer_information_sheet
